Sharpie Stained Fabric Markers (Brush Tip) Review

The Sharpie Stained Fabric Markers with a brush tip were one of the first brush pens I ever owned. They are technically fabric markers rather than traditional brush pens, and they come in a small set of seven neon colors. Because they are made for fabric, they feel a little different from most brush pens, but they are still very beginner-friendly and easy to use.

These markers have a medium level of flexibility and are a comfortable size to hold. They are easy to control and give a nice amount of stroke variation without feeling too soft or floppy.

Overall, I would give the Sharpie Stained Fabric Markers four out of five stars. The best part about them is how durable they are. Because they are fabric markers, they can handle a lot of pressure and still hold up really well over time, which makes them great for beginners who are still learning control.

The downsides mostly come from the fact that they are fabric markers. The color range is very limited and only comes in a neon rainbow set. They are also very bad at blending since the ink is not water-based. Another downside is that I have had a few caps crack or break, which caused some of the markers to dry out. Even with that issue, I still think they are worth it because they are very affordable and otherwise extremely durable.

I think these markers are popular because they are easy to find on Amazon, very beginner-friendly, and a great medium size. They are easy to control while still allowing a good amount of stroke variation. I would loosely compare them to the Karin Brushmarker Pro, but with a different type of ink, a smaller size, and slightly less flexibility. Overall, they are a solid option for beginners!
